Icho Cruz | Còrdoba - Argentina
I was born in Còrdoba – Argentina and I was just 12 years old when I made my first jewellery. To this day I remember those single string bracelets that I sold to holiday-makers - probably because that marked the moment that my lifelong passion for making jewellery began.
I studied extensively to hone my craft, first at University in Argentina (economics, then metal smithing), then in San Francisco (USA) where I studied with the Revere Academy of Jewellery Arts. I then deepened my training with courses at the Gemogical Institute of America and finally came to Italy where I completed my trilogy of design disciplines with an Industrial Design degree at ISIA Roma Design.

The designs that you see on this site are just a small selection of my work, and focused on my work in ceramics. My favourite thing is working in collaboration with my clients on individual commissioned pieces, and her I work across all materials including precious metals and gemstones.
I find my inspiration in nature and the surrounding landscapes; translating the peace and harmony I see around me into my jewellery design. Each piece is as unique as the single moment that inspires it.
Today I live in the Abruzzo region of Italy with my partner and my two children.
